Data Accelerator enables universe designers to speed up their universe query performance and leverage their database server power via the use of aggregate tables.

As a universe designer, have you ever asked your data warehouse DBA to create some aggregate tables or to update the tables you are working on?
Wouldn't it be easier and faster to reuse the universe metadata to automatically update the back end database for better query performance?

Data Accelerator

Data Accelerator allows universe designers to automate the creation of aggregate tables by leveraging Data Integrator, letting them focus on the more critical aspects of universe design like defining the best business logic.

Aggregate tables are tables in your database that contain pre-calculated data for quicker measure aggregation and calculation. To create the aggregate table, Data Accelerator user will build a query via the query panel and publish it as a new Data Integrator job. User will then be able to add the newly created aggregate tables in its universe schema and then use the aggregate awareness feature in order to select an aggregate calculation path based on objects that are compatible/incompatible with the aggregate tables.
