Content Rating allows end users to rate and share their opinions on published BI content in a collaborative manner. It also enables to define and manage document validation. Content Rating is fully integrated with BusinessObjects XI Release 2 InfoView portal and provides a new way of enriching existing BI content with valuable contexts. These contexts can then help other users identify the most relevant BI content, increase their awareness on the information validity and enforce their trust on the published document.

Once installed, Content Rating features are surfaced inside InfoView as one additional line of information attached to the published content.

The document rating feature enables users to provide their ratings on each public document. Business users can then provide feedback to the document author and to others users.

As a result, the document visualization indicators allow users to identify the most relevant documents quicker.

The validation process will help users collaborate when validating a document during the elaboration phase, until the production.

You can easily assign owners to each steps, set due dates, update the status, add or remove steps to adapt the process to your needs.

Personalized icons are shown in documents list; they reflect the validation status related to the logged user.

Content Rating, provides you additional information on your BI documents, like document view counter, universe used by the document, creation date, list of preferred document, list of current validations …
