Take Action as a Web ServiceTake Action as a Web Service (TAWS) helps align business intelligence with operational systems. With TAWS, business users can leverage BI context to securely interact with their enterprise business processes.

TAWS is a framework for hosting service-oriented actions and delivering web services targeted to business users. Writeback, the first module delivered with TAWS, allows non-developer users to easily create actions to write data back into relational databases. Users can quickly build scripts and publish them as a web service, thanks to an easy-to-use graphical designer. This web service can then be consumed by any web service-enabled application.
